Job Requirements

Meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages
be approachable and able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during busy periods
be available to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
move efficiently within the bar service area and stand for extended periods
be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their scheduled shift
frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in a similar bar support or hospitality role is advantageous
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
strong teamwork and collaboration skills
knowledge of responsible alcohol service and safety standards
basic inventory management experience is a plus
friendly and approachable demeanor

Job Duties

Plays a key role in facilitating excellent drink service
keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor informed of any low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions
provides efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice levels are maintained
maintains a positive and helpful attitude while supporting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during peak service times
assists with guest inquiries by communicating information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained and organized
supports the bartender by quickly retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
ensures that empty drinkware is collected and the bar area remains organized throughout service
alerts the bartender or manager to any guest issues or concerns observed at the bar
adheres to all company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations
responsible for stocking and organizing all bar-related inventory
assists with periodic inventory counts of bar stock
checks and replenishes all required bar supplies before, during, and after service periods
maintains the cleanliness and organization of the entire bar service area
provides support to other team members as required
maintains positive working relationships with all team members to foster a collaborative work environment
