  • three years of supervisory experience
  • ability to achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days
  • ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • experience with point-of-sale systems
  • ability to maintain discretion handling confidential information
  • strong influencing and relationship-management skills
  • effective communication skills with groups of guests and team members
  • ability to work irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to talk, hear, operate a personal computer, move freely throughout the office and property
  • ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds regularly
  • specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focusing ability

Job Duties

  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • interview and hire team members

  • plan, assign and direct work

  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • oversee daily operations of the venue including supporting the venue's concept, maintaining menu and product knowledge, leading shift meetings, conducting training, and performing opening and closing duties
  • ensure the highest level of guest service is achieved and maintained
  • assist in providing timely, positive resolution to guest issues and concerns
  • assist management in developing venue budget
  • operate the venue within established budgetary guidelines
  • evaluate financial reports and adjust operations as needed to achieve financial goals
  • manage team member scheduling and venue inventories to meet business demands and attain budgeted goals
  • develop initiatives and promotions to increase sales, control costs, and manage inventories
  • maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
  • maintain complete knowledge of restaurant service standards, menu items, beverage selections, specials, promotions, events, and policies
  • establish, update, and ensure compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • perform other duties as assigned
