The role of Draught Technician at Anheuser-Busch is essential to maintaining the company’s high standards for product delivery and consumer experience within licensed accounts. This full-time role offers a competitive wage of $24 per hour and involves hands-on technical work focused on the inspection, setup, and maintenance of beer draught systems. The Draught Technician will collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for new draught system installations and system refreshes, ensuring every beer pour meets quality expectations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting draught lines and equipment to diagnose issues such as poor pouring or dispensing, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders, and recommending solutions to optimize system performance.

In addition to technical draught system duties, the Draught Technician will play a pivotal role in the execution and management of sales events. This includes preparing, organizing, and overseeing marketing events and sponsorships across the assigned market territory. The position involves coordination with the Events Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator on event logistics, product needs, asset management, and real-time event support from setup through breakdown. Managing inventory for glassware, cups, tap handles, and event assets is also a critical component of this role, requiring great organizational skills and attention to detail.

The Draught Technician will be expected to maintain all draught equipment, ensure cleanliness and functionality, order promotional materials like signs and banners in a timely manner, and maintain storage areas for all promotional point-of-contact materials. The job demands flexibility in working hours, including availability for after-hours and weekend work when necessary. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel is also required to effectively manage communication and reporting tasks.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver license
  • Ability to lift load unload and move products weighing up to 165 lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Highly organized

Job Qualifications

  • Commercial Drivers License preferred
  • Ability to lift load unload and move products weighing up to 165 lbs as well as hang merchandising material
  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Excellent internal and external customer orientation

Job Duties

  • Execute sales events including organization of assets before event working collectively with the Events Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator on product needs and shipments set-up and delivery of event equipment and assets on-site execution and maintenance during event clean-up and recapping of event
  • Communicate with concessionaires and accounts on event needs prior to event
  • Schedule and maintain all draught equipment including cleanliness and maintenance needs
  • Maintain all event assets and organization of event asset area
  • Order signs and banners for events in a timely manner for upcoming events
  • Work collectively with Events Coordinator for on hand inventory in warehouse to confirm quantities quality and freshness
  • Seek out negotiate and execute new draught installs
  • Maintain troubleshoot and fix retailer draught issues within their territory
  • Coach and train the On-Premise sales teams on draught beer system maintenance
  • Manage all glassware and cup inventories
  • Manage tap handle inventories to remain at par levels outlined by On Premise DSM and Events Coordinator
  • Repair and maintain all POCM and POCM storage areas and communicate to sales team on existing POCM in the warehouse
  • Fill out draught and event logs monthly and send to Marketing Coordinator
  • Work after hours and weekend as required
  • Use Microsoft Outlook PowerPoint and Excel for communication and reporting
  • Work closely with Logistics on executing the Sale Event Process
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations
