When functioning as a Banquet Captain, you will oversee the execution of banquet events, coordinate logistics with event planners and culinary staff, manage banquet team members, and ensure events run smoothly from setup through breakdown. The position ensures a varied and stimulating workday, supported by a competitive pay scale starting at $16.76 hourly for Food Server duties and $17.31 for Banquet Captain responsibilities, with increases following a successful 90-day orientation. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a lively setting that sometimes includes a casino smoke-filled environment. Additional perks include a free Class III B Gaming License, essential for operating within the casino environment. Candidates should be prepared for physical demands such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds. The position calls for flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, graveyards, and holidays, ensuring the continuous operation of this bustling entertainment venue. This role is ideal for those with experience in banquet service, full-service restaurant settings, or hospitality coordination, looking to leverage their skills within a vibrant casino environment that values cultural respect and team collaboration.
