Job Requirements
- Ability to stand constantly during shifts
- Frequent walking and bending
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unaided
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be available for early morning shifts starting between 6:30 am and 9:00 am
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Knowledge of savory cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Willingness to learn and contribute to menu development
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
Job Duties
- Assist department manager with menu planning, research, and development
- Efficiently prepare all savory items to meet production goals and line orders
- Communicate production problems or needs to savory shift leader or manager
- Ensure quality and consistency of all savory menu items
- Analyze quality, efficiency, and timeliness to improve personal performance
- Collaborate with savory team to complete daily production and prepare for next day
- Attend and contribute to savory department meetings
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with customers and staff
- Maintain a working knowledge of savory menu items to educate customers and staff
- Support team members during breaks and as needed
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrate empathy, kindness, and humility in all interactions
- Commit to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace
