Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior baking or culinary experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with help
- basic math proficiency
- willingness to work early morning shifts starting at 3 a.m.
- availability to work weekends
- strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Prior culinary or baking experience preferred
- ability to follow production schedules and recipes accurately
- knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- basic math skills for scaling and measuring

- willingness to work early morning and weekend shifts
Job Duties
- Scale, measure, mix, shape, and bake pastry products accurately
- follow the daily production schedule to meet pastry quantity and timing needs
- assist with seasonal menu changes and new item development
- communicate production needs and challenges to leadership
- analyze quality, efficiency, and timeliness to improve performance
- maintain knowledge of pastry products to educate customers and staff
- assist in training new pastry employees
- attend and contribute to pastry team meetings
- interact with team and customers with empathy and kindness
- maintain attendance and punctuality
- use emotional intelligence to work effectively with diverse personalities
- maintain curiosity and a desire to learn
- uphold a commitment to diversity and inclusivity
