The Parlor Doughnuts team is currently seeking an experienced individual to join their back-of-house kitchen team. This role focuses on handcrafting quality layered doughnuts from start to finish, consistently meeting or exceeding the high standards that Parlor Doughnuts is known for. As a member of the den/back of house crew, the primary responsibilities include preparing doughnuts by following established recipes and procedures—this involves preparing ingredients, frying the doughnuts to perfection, and decorating them with care and creativity. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure the fryer operations run smoothly and that the inventory of ingredients is well-managed. Cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area are critical to maintaining food safety and a pleasant workplace environment.

In addition to production duties, team members in this role assist the front of house by delivering exceptional customer service. This includes taking orders, answering customer questions, and addressing any concerns to ensure a positive experience. The role requires versatility and a willingness to jump in with other tasks such as sweeping, washing dishes, or managing garbage when needed. Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain and maintain relevant food safety certifications like Serv Safe or state certification and have knowledge or training in handling kitchen emergencies including first aid, CPR, and fire response.
