Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Capable of pushing or pulling a cart up to 250 pounds
Must wear uniform including provided cap, tee shirt, and apron
Required to wear blue jeans with no holes or rips and a black belt
Non-slip shoes must be worn at all times
Must adhere to store sanitation and food safety practices
Ability to work well in a team environment
Effective communication skills in English
Enthusiastic and high energy level during shifts

Job Qualifications

Pleasant disposition, friendly, sociable, accommodating nature, and enthusiastic
Ability to make simple mathematical calculations
Must be able to read and communicate using the English language
Food service experience is valued but not required
Experience with basic equipment repair and maintenance is valued but not required
Bakery or cake decorating experience is valued but not required

Job Duties

Maintain a pleasant and courteous demeanor
Inspect all doughnuts and remove any that are misshapen, too small, or otherwise imperfect
Apply fillings, icings, and other toppings following Krispy Kreme product specifications
Stock and rotate product on carts and display cases to ensure freshness and proper appearance
Fulfill wholesale orders by packaging, dating, and safety sealing the product
Replenish filling and icing hoppers
Aid in retail area by boxing doughnuts, making coffee and performing general cleaning duties
Bake assorted pastry items using a commercial oven
Be familiar with the operations of all front of the house equipment
Work to minimize waste as much as possible
Practice clean as you go techniques to maintain a clean work area
Complete a proper schedule on a regular basis
Regularly clean and perform preventive maintenance on doughnut-making equipment
Demonstrate safety consciousness at all times and report all incidents to a supervisor
Assist in maintaining a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness
Report any equipment failure or issues to supervisor in a timely manner
Consistently model all store policies, standards, and practices
Coach and train new employees in doughnut decorating
Follow all Krispy Kreme standards for Food Safety Program and HACCP Plans
Perform other related duties as assigned
