Job Description
Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles Norwalk is a well-established hotel located just 6 miles from Knott's Berry Farm Amusement Park. The hotel features a variety of guest amenities including an outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, and spacious rooms equipped with 32-inch flat-screen TVs, cable, video games, Wi-Fi, coffee makers, and ironing facilities. Guests can enjoy dining from the hotel's bar and on-site restaurant, which offers Italian and American cuisine. In addition, the hotel caters to business travelers by providing a business center and several meeting rooms. The Doubletree brand is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and comfort in a welcoming environment, making it a desirable destination for both leisure and business travelers.
We are currently looking to expand our team by hiring a dedicated House Attendant. The House Attendant is an essential member of the hospitality team who ensures that all public and guest areas of the hotel remain clean, organized, and inviting. This position calls for detail-oriented individuals who are not afraid of physical tasks and who can sustain a high level of service with a warm and friendly demeanor. As a House Attendant, you will be the behind-the-scenes hero responsible for keeping every public space sparkling, greeting guests with a smile, assisting in setting up events, and providing support to the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
The role involves maintaining top-tier sanitation and cleanliness across all hotel facilities and equipment including lobbies, restrooms, carpets, and furniture. You will be responding promptly and professionally to guest requests, which requires a guest-focused attitude and a readiness to help at all times. Additionally, you will assist in preparing meeting rooms and events, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed to guarantee seamless guest experiences. The House Attendant will also act as a safety and security steward by managing sensitive areas responsibly, handling lost-and-found items carefully, and practicing safe work habits to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, although hospitality experience is a plus. The role demands the ability to remain calm under pressure and a commitment to outstanding service. For those in driving roles, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Upon completion of the initial waiting period, full-time employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health and wellness coverage, and retirement plans. We also proudly offer the option of daily pay to provide immediate financial flexibility for our team members.
If you are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and thrive in a lively, service-oriented environment, joining the Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles Norwalk as a House Attendant could be your perfect career step. Take pride in your work and become an integral part of a team that values professionalism, cleanliness, and community. We look forward to receiving your application and hopefully welcoming you to our family.
