The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is seeking a dedicated Door Attendant to join its dynamic and talented team. This role carries a central responsibility in shaping first impressions, greeting guests with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness as they arrive by car or on foot. The Door Attendant collaborates closely with Bell Attendants and Valet Attendants to ensure guests’ arrivals and departures are seamless and memorable. As a Door Attendant, you will become part of a team that values connection, character, and craftsmanship. The role involves opening car doors and hotel doors for guests, assisting with luggage handling, managing traffic flow, providing directions and recommendations, and delivering exceptional hospitality in all guest interactions. - minimum of 2 years of front office or related work experience preferred
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Duties
- Greet guests arriving by private car, taxi, or limo by opening car doors and welcoming them to the hotel
- assist guests descending from vehicles
- issue appropriate valet parking tickets to guests
- give verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot
- open hotel doors for all guests
- unload guest luggage from cars, tag it, and issue claim tickets
- direct guests to the Front Desk for check-in
- transfer luggage to Bell Staff
- assure the smooth flow of traffic on the driveway by directing guest cars and taxis
- provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions
- hail taxis as needed
- load luggage in cars for departing guests
- handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests, resolve customer complaints
- greet all guests passing through the Front Door and offer assistance
- work professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- maintain cleanliness of driveway and hotel entrance
- assist with duties of Bell Staff and Valet Parking Staff during absences or heavy volume
- assist with Residential Front Office responsibilities and desk coverage
