Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • valid driver’s license for applicable state
  • flexible and able to work long hours
  • ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
  • ability to stand for entire shift
  • maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • listening, understanding and clarifying concerns
  • multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • attend all required meetings and trainings
  • maintain regular attendance according to hotel needs

Job Duties

  • Load and unload luggage carts and assist guests with tagging, storing and retrieving luggage
  • assist guests with cabs and other transportation requirements
  • call the garage for valet cars, if applicable
  • open vehicle and hotel doors and greet arriving and departing guests
  • respond to guest questions and provide information on local attractions, events and daily hotel activities
  • be aware of VIP and repeat guests and greet them by name
  • announce departing shuttles
  • maintain cleanliness of motor entrance and front door
