Job Description
OWR (Outstanding Waste Removal) is a reputable company specializing in professional waste management services, particularly focusing on providing quality valet trash solutions to apartment communities. As a company dedicated to maintaining clean, sustainable living environments and ensuring customer satisfaction, OWR stands out not only for its operational excellence but also for its commitment to building a trustworthy and respectful work culture. Their team environment is built on a foundation of five core values: Dependable, Efficient, Loving, Truthful, and Adaptable. These values guide employee conduct and service quality, ensuring clients receive the best experience possible at each property served.
This position is for a Valet Trash Collector working primarily Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 pm to approximately 9:30 pm, offering a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing team. The role involves handling the critical tasks of door-to-door trash and recycling collection within designated apartment complexes. Responsibilities extend beyond the mere collection of trash, as the Valet Trash Collector ensures the cleanliness of the entire property by removing any loose litter and assisting with monitoring resident compliance regarding trash disposal policies.
This role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness standards that directly impact the quality of life for community residents and overall property curb appeal. The company’s approach empowers each valet with the autonomy and trust necessary to act in the client’s best interest, providing personalized and attentive customer service. Valets are seen as vital representatives of OWR, entrusted to make operational decisions on-site to optimize service delivery and enhance resident satisfaction. Furthermore, the Valet is expected to foster strong professional relationships with coworkers and management, contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.
The position offers practical benefits including a starting pay rate of $460 biweekly for a relatively short weekly work schedule, making it an excellent part-time opportunity. Paid holidays are also included, enhancing the overall compensation package. Candidates who thrive in environments requiring high work standards, problem-solving abilities, and independent decision-making will find this role rewarding. OWR encourages those who value growth—financially or promotion-wise—and are aligned with the company’s core values to apply and cultivate their career path within this organization.
The role demands physical capability, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, climb stairs, and perform duties in various weather conditions. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurance, a smartphone with a data plan and functional camera, and have access to a pickup truck. This combination ensures that valets can fulfill their responsibilities efficiently while maintaining communication and accountability through technology. Overall, this position offers a meaningful employment opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to community wellness while working flexible evening hours.
