Job Description
The Dazzle Cleaning Company is a renowned eco-friendly cleaning establishment based in Seattle, Washington. Founded by Logan a decade ago, this company has earned its reputation by serving thousands of satisfied clients within the Seattle area. Proudly known as the gayest cleaning company in America, The Dazzle Cleaning Company stands as a beacon for inclusivity and diversity, making it an ideal workplace for individuals from all backgrounds, especially those in the LGBTQIA community who may find such affirmation rare elsewhere. Beyond its welcoming atmosphere, this company places a monumental emphasis on environmental responsibility. Its commitment to sustainability is reflected in the use of mostly natural ingredients for their cleaning supplies, efforts to reduce plastic consumption by avoiding plastic bags and disposable towels, and reducing fossil fuel usage by careful selection of products. The company even encourages suggestions from its employees to enhance its green initiatives, proving their ongoing commitment to combating climate change and environmental degradation.
The role they are hiring for is full-time cleaners to join their dedicated team. This position is designed for individuals who might be new to the cleaning industry, as no prior experience is required and training is provided. The company provides paid training to ensure every cleaner is well-prepared and confident in their duties. Compensation starts at a base rate of $25 per hour, with potential hourly rate increases based on performance and productivity. Hours extending beyond 30 scheduled hours in a pay period qualify for a higher pro rate of $29 per hour, and working Saturdays rewards employees with $31 per hour, dubbed the "Saturday Slayer" rate. Another appealing aspect of the job is the Monday to Friday workweek with no nights or weekend requirements, catering well to those seeking a balanced work-life schedule. In addition to competitive wages, the company offers an enviable paid time off policy that increases with tenure — starting at three weeks in the first year and scaling up to five weeks after six or more years. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance through Kaiser Permanente, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and telemedicine services.
The company culture at The Dazzle Cleaning Company is built on core values that emphasize integrity, kindness, professionalism, and environmental activism. Employees are encouraged to ‘do the right thing,’ which often means prioritizing long-term shared success over short-term convenience or profit. Staff interactions, whether with colleagues or clients, are grounded in generosity and respect, contributing to a supportive and positive workplace. This professionalism is characterized not by appearance but by quality, reliability, and excellent client service. The company’s proactive stance on climate change underscores all aspects of its operations, including carbon neutrality efforts and financial support for environmental causes.
Ultimately, joining The Dazzle Cleaning Company means becoming part of a distinctive work environment where diversity is celebrated, and a genuine commitment to sustainability is united with excellent employee support. Full-time positions hold great opportunity for career growth and personal fulfillment, especially for those passionate about making a positive difference in their community and the planet.
