As a Shift Manager at Dave's Hot Chicken, you have the opportunity to lead and inspire a dynamic team within a high-energy, fast-paced restaurant setting. This role requires a natural leader with a passion for hospitality and the ability to maintain excellent operational standards while fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Compensation is competitive, starting at $23 per hour, which includes tips estimated at $3.50 per hour. Your responsibilities will range from overseeing daily operations to ensuring that both customer service and cleanliness meet or exceed company standards.
In this role, you will be directly responsible for motivating, training, and supervising the team members on your shift. You will handle customer concerns with professionalism and promptness, ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied. The position also involves operational duties such as managing labor costs, staffing, scheduling, and assisting in the opening and closing of the restaurant. Additionally, you may be required to travel to support new restaurant openings, which adds variety and growth potential to the role.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid Food Handler's Permit
- Completion of Dave's Hot Chicken team member and shift manager training programs
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to train and manage teams
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be service-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to perform basic math operations (cash handling)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in extreme temperatures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties

- Supervise, train, and motivate team members during your shift
