Job Description
OWR is a rapidly growing company dedicated to providing exceptional property services, emphasizing customer satisfaction and operational excellence. As a valued member of OWR, you will join a close-knit team that upholds high standards of quality, trust, and respect in all aspects of work. The organization puts significant trust in its team members, encouraging autonomy and ownership in delivering outstanding client experiences. OWR believes that every employee has a meaningful impact on their customers' lives and promotes the core values of Dependable, Efficient, Loving, Truthful, and Adaptable to guide workplace behavior and decision-making.
This role focuses on serving a specific property as a valet, where you will be the primary and sometimes sole representative at the location. The position demands a strong connection with colleagues and a commitment to going above and beyond mere job duties to ensure customer happiness. You will have the authority to exercise judgment on how to best serve the community, with management actively encouraging suggestions and feedback to improve service quality. Engagement beyond normal work hours is valued as a way to strengthen team relationships and foster a supportive work environment.
The valet works Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 pm to approximately 9:30 pm, offering a consistent schedule that allows a manageable work-life balance. Compensation starts at $200 biweekly for a few hours of work each week, along with paid holidays, making this role an appealing opportunity for those seeking supplemental income or part-time employment within a growing organization.
In this role, responsibilities primarily include collecting trash and recycling from residents' trash containers across an apartment complex and properly transferring these materials to designated on-site dumpsters or compactors. You will be tasked with keeping the community tidy by cleaning any loose trash around the premises and reporting instances of non-compliance by residents. Flexibility is required as additional duties may arise as needed, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and instructions is highly valued.
Physical stamina and readiness play an essential role in this position. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and be prepared to walk long distances and climb stairs regularly. The ability to work in various weather conditions is necessary to maintain community standards year-round.
To effectively perform your duties, a valid driver’s license and automotive insurance listing you as a driver on the policy are required. Additionally, possession of a smartphone with a data plan and functional camera ensures that you can document non-compliance issues and communicate effectively with management. A pickup truck with a trunk is also essential to transport the trash and recycling materials efficiently.
This position offers the potential for growth both financially and through promotional opportunities for individuals who demonstrate dedication, responsibility, and alignment with OWR’s core values. If you take pride in your work and wish to be part of a respectful, dependable team committed to community betterment, this role may be an excellent fit for you.
