The Team Member role at Dave's Hot Chicken is essential for ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive guest experience. This position involves performing various responsibilities, including greeting guests, preparing food items, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to keep operations running seamlessly. Team Members must exemplify a positive attitude, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and be flexible to work during nights, weekends, holidays, and various shifts. The starting wage for this position is $19.40 per hour, which includes tips averaging an estimated $3.50 per hour, though tips may vary and are not guaranteed. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop, and lift 50 to 75 lbs comfortably
  • Be able to work in close quarters and around heat
  • Have a positive attitude while conducting all duties
  • Have a commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Effective communicator with teammates and the restaurant management team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions
  • Work together with teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
  • Use kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, and warmers
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms
  • Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy
