The Team Member position at Dave's Hot Chicken is an integral part of the restaurant's daily operations. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to maintaining high standards in guest service, food preparation, and overall restaurant cleanliness. Team Members are expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with their peers, and embrace the restaurant's commitment to quality and hospitality. This position offers a starting wage of $19.40 per hour, inclusive of estimated tips averaging $3.50 per hour, highlighting the company’s commitment to fairly compensating staff for their hard work and dedication.

As a Team Member, the individual will interact closely with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and serving food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude. They will operate various kitchen equipment such as fryers, warmers, and ice cream dispensers, ensuring all safety and sanitation protocols are rigorously followed. Keeping the restaurant clean and welcoming is another critical responsibility, encompassing tasks like clearing tables, sweeping floors, sanitizing utensils, and maintaining restrooms. The role demands a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and shifts that open or close the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 75 pounds comfortably.

Beyond daily operational duties, Team Members are also charged with handling guest concerns professionally and calmly in accordance with restaurant policies. Effective communication and a positive attitude are vital, as is a commitment to delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude including answering questions
  • work together with other teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
  • use specific kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers
  • ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, servicing restrooms
  • handle guests' concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy
