The Prep Team Member role at Dave's Hot Chicken is a pivotal position responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. This position is scheduled from 6am to 2pm and includes a variety of prep tasks integral to restaurant performance. The starting wage for this role is $19.40 per hour, which includes estimated tips of approximately $3.50 per hour, though these tips are not guaranteed and may vary. The role is both accountable and responsible for user-friendly guest service, meticulous food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, and effective teamwork. Prep Team Members operate specific kitchen equipment such as fryers, warmers, and ice cream dispensers, while strictly adhering to established cooking instructions, safety protocols, and sanitary regulations.

Additionally, Prep Team Members engage directly with guests, warmly greeting them, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly with a positive and helpful attitude. A typical day involves coordinating closely with teammates to prepare the DHC menu items, executing tasks efficiently within the fast-paced environment to maintain a high speed of service. Cleanliness duties include clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms, ensuring the restaurant meets health and safety standards at all times. The role demands a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a guest-focused mindset. Team members are expected to remain calm and professional when addressing guest complaints, resolving issues in line with restaurant policies.

This role also requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift between 50 and 75 pounds. Flexibility is essential, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, holidays, opening, and closing hours. Job Duties
