Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree
  • 2+ years of related experience such as project management or related military experience
  • active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance granted or renewed within last 6 years
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • ability to perform occasional lifting up to 10lbs
  • received unit commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge program prior to start of internship
  • has served at least 180 days on active duty
  • is within 12 months of separation or retirement
  • will receive an honorable discharge
  • has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
  • has attended or participated in an ethics brief within last 12 months

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience such as project management or related military experience or master's degree
  • strong experience successfully addressing technical project requirements
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • experience leading IT projects
  • experience in cybersecurity
  • experience maintaining facilities for classified work
  • project management professional (PMP) certified
  • active top secret clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years
  • experience in leadership roles within aerospace and defense industry or military

Job Duties

  • Lead projects with cross-functional teams to meet closed area requirements including facilities, security, and hardware/software needs
  • ensure successful execution of closed area operations
  • create operational efficiencies that improve closed area program operations
  • clearly present technical approaches and findings for initiatives
  • develop and drive solutions to complex problems consistent with organization objectives
  • serve as consultant to management and customers on policies, plans, and objectives
  • manage program relationships to ensure all security requirements are met and in compliance
  • assist with resolving computer and network issues
  • monitor IT tickets and raise issues that require management involvement
