Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree
- 2+ years of related experience such as project management or related military experience
- active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance granted or renewed within last 6 years
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- ability to perform occasional lifting up to 10lbs
- received unit commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge program prior to start of internship
- has served at least 180 days on active duty
- is within 12 months of separation or retirement
- will receive an honorable discharge
- has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
- has attended or participated in an ethics brief within last 12 months
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience such as project management or related military experience or master's degree
- strong experience successfully addressing technical project requirements
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- experience leading IT projects
- experience in cybersecurity
- experience maintaining facilities for classified work
- project management professional (PMP) certified
- active top secret clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years
- experience in leadership roles within aerospace and defense industry or military
Job Duties
- Lead projects with cross-functional teams to meet closed area requirements including facilities, security, and hardware/software needs
- ensure successful execution of closed area operations
- create operational efficiencies that improve closed area program operations
- clearly present technical approaches and findings for initiatives
- develop and drive solutions to complex problems consistent with organization objectives
- serve as consultant to management and customers on policies, plans, and objectives
- manage program relationships to ensure all security requirements are met and in compliance
- assist with resolving computer and network issues
- monitor IT tickets and raise issues that require management involvement
