Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or equivalent military experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with recent background investigation or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification
  • Competence in Linux troubleshooting and engineering tools
  • Familiarity with payloads or communications operations
  • Ability to relocate and support deployment in UAE for minimum 24 months
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering or military experience OR Master's degree and 3 years experience OR PhD and 1 year experience for Principal level
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering or military experience OR Master's degree and 6 years experience OR PhD and 4 years experience for Senior Principal level
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II or higher certification
  • Competence in Linux, troubleshooting, engineering documentation, tools and equipment
  • Familiarity with payloads operations or communications/networking operations
  • Willingness to support assignment at location for minimum 24 months

Job Duties

  • Provide real time support to flight operations and maintenance addressing communication and payload issues including MFAS Radar, EO/IR, airborne recorder, and Link 16
  • Coordinate work with site leadership ensuring Maintenance Action Forms are properly documented
  • Adhere to checklists and procedures, providing redlines when necessary
  • Communicate complex technical issues to local support, Degrader Action Cell, Main Operating Bases, and Responsible Engineers
  • Support and lead air crew engagement for problem-solving techniques
  • Assist with trend analysis for Responsible Engineers
  • Support main operating base communications, networks, and other interfaces
  • Attain and employ expertise across all supported sensor and communications systems
