Job Description

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is a stunning resort-style property located serenely along the south shore of Lake Washington, offering breathtaking views and embracing the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Positioned perfectly in proximity to Seattle's vibrant tech scene and millennial culture, this hotel is a unique blend of nature, modernity, and exceptional hospitality. Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is committed to providing guests with memorable experiences that highlight the best of the PNW, from gorgeous sunsets to seasonal events that engage and delight visitors year-round.

As a globally respected hospitality brand, Hyatt is a company that values genuine care and attentiveness in its associates. The company prides itself on exceeding guest expectations through authentic hospitality and meaningful experiences. This reputation for superior service makes Hyatt a place where talent is nurtured, and opportunities for exciting challenges in the hospitality industry abound. The culture at Hyatt encourages continuous growth and rewards exceptional performance, making it an ideal workplace for individuals passionate about delivering world-class guest service.

The role of a Dock & Drink Server at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant, seasonal outdoor venue that fully leverages the natural waterfront setting. Starting in April and running through October 2026, this seasonal position allows associates to be part of a dynamic team under changing seasonal conditions. The Dock & Drink Server will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience by expertly taking orders, presenting menu selections, and providing thoughtful recommendations from an extensive range of food and beverage options including alcohol, beer, and wine.

The ideal candidate for this role will deeply connect with guests by engaging in friendly and courteous conversations, embodying Hyatt’s commitment to genuine service. The Dock & Drink Server not only serves food and drinks but creates an atmosphere of warm hospitality that elevates the guest experience. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean and sanitary restaurant environment and assisting with general restaurant preparation before and after shifts.

This role demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Candidates will gain meaningful experience in the hospitality industry while working for a prestigious brand that offers ample room for career growth and mobility within Hyatt. The wage for this position starts at $21.57 per hour plus applicable gratuities, reflecting the value Hyatt places on quality service and skilled associates.

This position requires flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and holidays. Additionally, given the nature of an outdoor seasonal venue, the ability to work in varying weather conditions is essential. If you have prior experience as a food and beverage server and a passion for creating unforgettable hospitality experiences, Hyatt Regency Lake Washington invites you to explore this exciting opportunity to join their team and embrace the #LakeLife.
