Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and hourly staff
  • Ability to work in a standing position for at least 8 hours a day
  • Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 30 lbs
  • Stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • No prior experience required
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • High school or equivalent education preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and hourly staff
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods
  • Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Clean, sanitize, and store all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans properly in the restaurant
  • Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables and floors
  • Assist culinary staff during special requests or priorities as requested by Executive Chef or Sous Chef
  • Assist culinary staff with daily cleaning and sanitizing of food preparation areas and equipment
  • Fulfill required daily cleaning of kitchen and equipment after hours
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations consistent with restaurant philosophy and standards
  • Operate within the restaurant with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, and initiative
