This role also involves regular travel across North America to visit stores and support operations.
As a leader, the District Manager will recruit and train store managers and supervisors, foster a positive team environment, and provide ongoing coaching to promote high performance. Ensuring that all stores operate in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations will be critical, as will closely monitoring store metrics to implement improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
The District Manager will also play a key role in financial oversight by collaborating with store managers to meet sales targets, manage budgets, and maximize profitability. Offering a premium customer experience is a focal point, with responsibilities including resolving customer issues at the district level and supporting brand loyalty through community engagement.
Inventory management and product quality will be closely monitored to maintain high standards and ensure timely delivery of goods. Additionally, the District Manager will contribute to strategic planning and the successful execution of company-wide initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally with various departments such as Real Estate, Construction, IT, Supply Chain, HR, and Visual Merchandising.
A significant aspect of the role includes leading the end-to-end execution of new store openings, ensuring operational readiness, staffing, and smooth launch events, thereby reinforcing Coach's footprint and customer presence.

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a customer-first mindset, strategic agility, and the ability to drive results through effective people management and operational oversight. Joining Coach means contributing to a company that values creativity, courage, and innovation while upholding the highest standards of excellence in all aspects of business.
