Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience
  • Previous responsibility for profit and loss management
  • Experience leading and developing teams including General Managers
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile practices preferred
  • Ability to analyze business trends and solve problems
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to implement operational initiatives and drive continuous improvements
  • Compliance with wage and hour laws
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with support center and cross-functional teams

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in business or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in multi-unit restaurant management or retail environment
  • Previous accountability of profit and loss management
  • Proven experience leading teams of General Managers
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile practices preferred
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build culture, communicate effectively and lead change
  • Experience in sales and inventory leadership
  • Understanding of standardization and continuous improvement
  • Skilled in coaching for performance and development
  • Experience in teaching and training
  • Proficient in staffing and scheduling
  • Strong prioritizing and planning capabilities
  • Experience in portfolio management
  • Strategic thinking skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop teams through the company’s system and assessments by providing feedback and supporting goal setting to elevate team performance
  • Spend majority of working time observing restaurant environments, operational effectiveness, coaching and developing General Managers to achieve company goals
  • Hold General Managers accountable for providing exceptional customer service and outstanding food and beverage quality consistently across the district
  • Solicit customer feedback and proactively respond to local market needs
  • Lead and communicate with integrity, honesty and promote the culture by living the guiding principles
  • Provide clarity and build competence to empower teams and improve operations
  • Attract, select, train, develop and inspire team members ensuring retention and growth
  • Lead and develop restaurant operational initiatives and analyze business trends and results
  • Monitor staffing levels and training to ensure operational requirements are met
  • Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws and hold General Managers accountable for compliance
  • Identify and solve problems by embracing challenges and coaching General Managers to do the same
  • Utilize and demonstrate leadership principles to foster a valued, respected, engaged and problem-solving team environment
