This role is essential for driving financial performance through sales growth, cost management, budgeting, and maximizing profits while maintaining excellent standards in food quality and customer service. The District Manager is deeply involved in the financial planning process, assisting with annual sales projections, expense budgets, and capital expenditure planning. They closely monitor financial performances, including profit and loss statements, labor analyses, inventory control, and cash management, taking timely corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, the role demands regular visits to restaurants to assess restaurant management teams, identify developmental needs, and ensure training initiatives are aligned with company standards. Job Duties

  • assist in annual preparation of sales projections expense budgets and capital expenditure budgets
  • coordinate capital and repair and maintenance work to be scheduled timely and within budget
  • maximize profits and control expenses within established budget guidelines
  • execute and follow up on financial results periodically
  • complete all required financial reports accurately
  • review profit and loss statements and take corrective actions as necessary
  • ensure all restaurants meet or exceed Burger King Corporation and company operational and quality standards
  • perform regular visits to each restaurant to assess management staff strengths and opportunities
  • complete relevant assessments within designated time frames
  • ensure at least one restaurant is a training restaurant with a restaurant trainer
  • work with training directors to certify shift responsible personnel
  • respond immediately to priority calls and resolve customer complaints
  • monitor call volume and disciplinary actions if needed
  • manage staffing retention and turnover
  • conduct performance development reviews
  • identify and resolve labor efficiency problems
  • ensure hiring policies including background checks and drug testing are followed
  • monitor internal audit controls frequently
  • ensure timely reporting of accidents and incidents
  • monitor health department compliance and safety policies
  • document performance using counseling processes
  • conduct investigations for cash control and employment practices
  • coach restaurant managers for improved performance
  • conduct monthly management meetings for planning training and operational reviews
  • implement marketing programs and maintain competitive awareness
  • provide overall direction coordination and evaluation of 5-7 units
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing hiring training assigning directing rewarding disciplining and resolving problems
