The District Manager role at Wingstop is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within a designated district. This role involves providing direct assistance to General Managers, ensuring all restaurants meet company objectives, and driving profitability through strategic sales growth and operational management. The District Manager plays a crucial part in shaping the success of each restaurant by maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, sanitation, and safety. They act as a mentor and leader to store managers, guiding them through business planning, staff development, and regulatory compliance. This position requires a hands-on approach to leadership with an ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and staff dynamics effectively.

Your leadership will ensure that each Wingstop restaurant in your district operates efficiently, meets financial goals, and delivers a memorable guest experience. The job demands strong organizational skills, an outgoing personality, exceptional work ethic, and a genuine guest service mentality. You will be instrumental in coaching managers on employee relations, including disciplinary actions and staff development, ensuring labor and cost guidelines are strictly followed. A valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to travel between locations within your district are essential. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management or similar leadership role
  • valid U.S. driver’s license
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, bend, reach, handle, twist, talk, hear, and see clearly
  • ability to use computers and specialized equipment
  • strong work ethic
  • maintains regular and predictable attendance
  • restaurant industry experience
  • guest service mentality
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • well organized and detail oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management
  • strong leadership and team-building skills
  • proficiency in operational systems such as Aloha and NBO
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA
  • proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets
  • valid U.S. driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Partner with General Managers and staff to run an excellent operation
  • provide counsel and assistance to ensure managers establish business plans
  • ensure company profitability by following sales growth, food price, and wage guidelines
  • undergo and administer training for operational and personal development
  • coach store managers on discipline and employee development
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards
  • evaluate performance issues and recruit staff
  • ensure restaurants maintain Theoretical to Actual COGS variance under 2 percent
  • ensure labor standards are followed with scheduled to actual labor variance under 2 percent
  • utilize Aloha and NBO systems
  • perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Director of Operations
