The District Manager position at Braum's is an exciting leadership role designed for an energetic and positive individual eager to advance their career in food service management. This position involves overseeing 6 to 8 restaurant locations within the district, which currently includes areas in Abilene and Graham, Texas. As a leader within the district, the District Manager plays a crucial role in managing store performance through the hiring, training, and coaching of store managers and their teams. This role requires strong people management skills, with a clear focus on developing the management team and store crews to deliver excellent customer service and maintain food quality.

The District Manager will be responsible for managing multiple priorities from staffing and training to cost control, ensuring that labor costs and inventory levels are accurately monitored and maintained. This role involves regular travel within the district to provide hands-on leadership support and to address operational challenges. Job Requirements

  • Must live or be willing to relocate within the district
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • must have a valid driver license
  • 3 years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • multi-unit management experience preferred
  • high School diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Supervise the management teams of stores in the district
  • coach, teach and demonstrate sound customer service principles to all store team members
  • establish goals to meet company objectives
  • develop management team and successors
  • partner with Area Recruiter to identify the best available management level talent
  • identify district manager and management team development needs and build a plan for improvement
  • monitor management team staffing levels
  • monitor key store performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
  • ensure store management team understands company policies, guidelines and procedures
  • clearly communicate opportunities for improvement to store management team members
