The company fosters a culture that values continuous training, professional development, and mentorship to ensure every savory kitchen team member aligns with Tatte's culinary excellence. By supporting multiple cafes within a district, Tatte aims to deliver consistent dining experiences that meet guest expectations and uphold the brand's reputation for culinary artistry and service.

The role of District Executive Chef (DEC) at Tatte is a pivotal leadership position designed to support and elevate 6-8 cafes' savory kitchen teams. The DEC serves as a key resource for cafe management teams, delivering the tools, training, and leadership needed to maintain and exceed food quality standards. This role is instrumental in ensuring that every kitchen team member—from managers to cooks—understands and adheres to food safety and quality protocols. The DEC’s responsibilities extend to mentoring kitchen leaders, fostering a positive and productive kitchen culture, and driving continuous improvement across all savory operations. With a focus on training in food safety, sanitation, and professional development, the DEC supports the growth and succession planning of kitchen leadership.

This full-time role offers competitive compensation ranging from $105,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience, with the added potential for up to 10% bonus incentives. The position requires flexibility to accommodate business needs, including work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves overseeing multiple cafe locations within the Tri-State area. The DEC is also responsible for managing inventory practices, supporting new cafe openings, implementing kitchen systems, and collaborating with culinary operations leadership to uphold food quality and safety best practices. Overall, the District Executive Chef plays a vital role in shaping the operational success and culinary standards of Tatte’s cafes, ensuring every savory kitchen delivers a memorable guest experience.
