Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Some college preferred
  • 2+ years of distribution supervisory experience preferably in the food industry
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of computers including MS Office
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Experience with operational excellence and safety compliance

Job Duties

  • Win the shift by ensuring on-time dispatch of complete orders and adherence to quality, efficiency, and safety standards
  • Foster a culture of associate engagement by respecting, including, and empowering all associates
  • Uphold and promote E5 Leadership Behaviors: Embrace the Consumer, Ensure Operational Capabilities, Empower and Involve, Engage and Develop, Expect Ownership and Accountability
  • Identify issues, assign actions, follow up for completion, and escalate as needed
  • Coach associates towards independent problem-solving to consistently meet world-class standards
  • Collaborate across departments to solve issues and ensure service to customers
  • Prepare priorities for self and team for upcoming shifts
  • Communicate and coordinate important issues with team members and leadership
  • Deliver on key performance indicators for people, quality, safety, service, and cost
  • Engage and develop associate core competencies through onboarding, training, coaching, and feedback
  • Achieve all safety goals and comply with workplace standards, company policies, and government regulations
  • Manage product quality through inventory practices and product accountability
  • Lead the team to achieve key shipping metrics of on-time, in-full delivery
  • Ensure cost efficiency by managing operations, budget targets, and staffing
  • Utilize tablets and applications like Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex to facilitate operations
