The representative plays an integral role in maintaining a seamless logistics flow critical to uninterrupted patient care and organizational efficiency. The role also encompasses collaborating with various departments like Purchasing, Finance, and Information Services to resolve delivery, inventory, and technical issues.

Beyond routine delivery and courier support, responsibilities include reconciling packing slips and staging packages for accurate distribution, assisting with fixed asset tagging and tracking, and addressing discrepancies such as mis-deliveries or returns. The Distribution Services Representative I is expected to uphold a safe, organized dock environment, accurately documenting all activities related to shipping and receiving. By troubleshooting equipment issues such as scanners and printers, the incumbent ensures that any technical disruptions are minimized to avoid affecting operations.

This position is ideal for applicants with prior experience in shipping, receiving, or delivery roles who seek to work in a mission-focused healthcare setting. With a salary range from $19.29 to $23.79 per hour, the role offers competitive compensation along with an extensive benefits package that emphasizes employee health, work-life balance, and professional development. National Jewish Health emphasizes core values such as reliability, respect in the workplace, adherence to safety protocols, compliance with regulatory standards, and a spirit of collaboration among colleagues. Employees are expected to maintain professional appearance, work well under supervision, and actively support the institution’s mission through responsible and effective performance.

Overall, the Distribution Services Representative I contributes significantly to the logistical backbone of National Jewish Health’s operations, ensuring that essential materials and equipment are delivered efficiently and accurately to support the frontline medical teams' critical work.
