Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year experience in shipping, receiving, or delivery role preferred
- Ability to work full time during day shift hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with delivery and shipment handling
- Ability to operate equipment and tools relevant to the role
- Clear communication skills
- Must adhere to safety and infection control practices
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to accept supervision and work well with others
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year work experience in shipping, receiving, or delivery role preferred
- Ability to reconcile purchase order issues in coordination with Finance
- Basic troubleshooting skills for scanner, printer, and technical issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments
- Commitment to safety and compliance with institutional policies
Job Duties
- Receiving, reconciling, staging, and delivering packages, documents, and equipment across the campus
- Supporting shipment preparation for couriers and carriers including ad hoc deliveries, returns, and mis-deliveries
- Assisting with fixed asset tracking and tagging in coordination with Finance
- Collaborating with Purchasing, Information Services, and other departments to resolve delivery, scanner, and technical issues
- Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting a safe, organized dock and delivery environment
- Delivering gas cylinders and tanks as needed
- Assisting other departments with use of the main dock and liaising with Purchasing on delivery issues
