Their focus is on creating a supportive environment where employees are valued, given opportunities for growth and development, and empowered with cutting-edge technology to bring their best selves to work every day. The company prides itself on providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage, along with flexible spending accounts, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, tuition assistance, wellness programs, parental leave, paid vacation, and sick leave. The Distribution Driver Helper is a vital role that supports the logistics operations at Southern Glazer's without requiring a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) at the time of hiring. This full-time position involves assisting delivery drivers with their assigned routes, ensuring that products are delivered accurately and on time to licensed retailers. The role offers structured on-the-job training geared towards obtaining a Class B CDL, with the potential for advancement in the company. Responsibilities include checking in invoiced orders with customers, collecting and returning payments, managing invoices and merchandise returns, and maintaining accurate delivery logs. The position demands a professional and safety-conscious demeanor in vehicle operation, participation in monthly safety meetings, and adherence to check-in procedures. Employees in this role must be physically capable of handling the demanding tasks of walking, bending, lifting up to 48 pounds, and operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks. This position is critical to Southern Glazer's operational success, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and a customer-focused mindset to join a leading distributor in the beverage industry.
