Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in a related role
- knowledge of transportation regulations
- proficiency with dispatching software such as WorldTrak and Dispatch Track
- strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to work independently and handle stress
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- punctual and dependable work ethic
- eligible to work in the United States
- willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks
- no sponsorship available for employment authorization at this time
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents
- ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence
- ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts
- ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions
- ability to follow prescribed procedures to solve routine problems
- thorough knowledge of WorldTrak
- proficient working knowledge of Dispatch Track
- basic knowledge of DOT and HOS rules and regulations
- proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, email, and Internet
- punctuality and ability to handle stress and meet deadlines with accuracy
- dependability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service skills
- eligibility to work in the United States
- successful completion of drug screen and background check

Job Duties
- Schedule driver routes with EFW business needs in mind
- review driver logs including dispatched calls and arrival time
- keep track of transportation regulations and ensure driver compliance
- enter all data into computer systems and handle related paperwork
- resolve delivery, return, driver, and helper issues
- manage communication with local agencies regarding trucks, drivers, and helpers
- maintain accurate records of dispatch calls, routes, changes, and delivery times
- ensure open communication within the Transport Department leadership
- handle customer requests and complaints
- answer phones for EFW Transport
- scan documents and type information into computer systems
- manage consols and rates for carriers
- oversee compliance of delivery apps and handle driver and helper calls and texts
- comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
