Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six or more months of prior experience as dispatcher
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic computer skills, ability to retrieve data, and data entry

Job Duties

  • Operate telephone and paging systems to receive and transfer calls and make pages
  • Serve as primary contact for residents reporting maintenance issues
  • Document and submit maintenance tickets
  • Monitor and respond to fire alarm system
  • Conduct overhead announcements during emergencies
  • Maintain current resident information and emergency contacts
  • Greet and provide directions to visitors, residents, and other customers
  • Control building access and monitor security systems including CCTV
  • Report suspicious individuals and calls to supervisor immediately
