Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Flight Dispatcher License
- 0-2 years of experience in aviation or related field
- Knowledge of weather theory, charts, and reports in METAR format including TAFs and NOTAMs
- Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations with emphasis on Parts 91, 91K and 135
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing situations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation preferred
- FAA Flight Dispatcher License
- 0-2 years of experience in aviation or related field
- Knowledge of weather theory, charts, and reports including METARs, TAFs, and NOTAMs
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations especially Parts 91, 91K, and 135
- Internship or prior work experience with an airline, FBO, flight department or airport is beneficial
- Strong adaptability and collaboration skills
- Service-oriented mindset
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Provide the highest level of safety and service for all flight crews, owners and employees by creating accurate, compliant flight-plans including routing, weight and balance, and aircraft performance
- Assess departure/arrival weather to determine trip feasibility
- Communicate with Owner Services and alter aircraft destinations as necessary
- File flight-plans with the Air Traffic Control System
- Utilize all available tools to ensure safety and regulatory compliance are met or exceeded
- Exercise joint release responsibility in conjunction with the flight crew in the interest of safety
- Anticipate and proactively take action to resolve future trip/dispatch events, situations, and opportunities
- Perform flight following as workload allows
- Continuously seek best practices and integrate process improvements and efficiencies in the job function
