Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
- Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
- Two (2) years aviation experience
- Exceptional communication skills with complete fluency in written and spoken English
- Maintain FAA required dispatch duties including cockpit exposure
- Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and focused with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think critically and to work under pressure in a team environment
- Currently in possession of a valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications

- Two (2) years JetBlue SOC experience (preferred)
Job Duties
- Flight planning for safe and efficient routes of flight including fuel requirements alternate airports and aircraft restrictions
- Brief captains on potential hazards delays runway construction and curfews
- Ensure takeoff and landing parameters are met
- En route flight following until completion of flight
- Proactively prepares for and manages irregular operations
- Ensure compliance with all requirements of Federal Air Regulations and Company procedures
- Other duties as assigned
