Job Requirements
- Valid FAA Aircraft Dispatcher's Certificate
- Sound working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, weather, and technical dispatch skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 23
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Job Duties
- Dispatch Horizon Air aircraft operated under 14 CFR Part 121 rules in accordance with 14 CFR Part 121 regulations, Company Operations Specifications, and Company procedure
- Plan each flight departure with primary emphasis on safety, compliance, and efficiency
- Monitor and evaluate airport conditions, airways, communication facilities, and NOTAMs for flight release preparation, flight following, and operational control decision making
- Monitor information concerning weather trends and airport conditions and anticipate changing conditions that affect aircraft operations
- Monitor progress of all flights governed under FAR Part 91 and 121
- Dispatch, delay, reroute, divert, and over-fly Company aircraft in accordance with applicable 14 CFR regulations and Company policy
- Brief flight crews on meteorological conditions, airways, MELs, NOTAMs, and information as required for safe and efficient completion of flights
