The company is currently seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations between the sales team, warehouse personnel, and delivery drivers. The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for managing customer product orders, scheduling deliveries, and preparing optimized delivery routes. This position operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 am, with the day typically ending by around 4:00 pm after loading trucks and coordinating shipments. It is a fast-paced role that demands attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
In this role, the Dispatch Coordinator will work closely with the sales team and customers to schedule deliveries that meet specific job site requirements, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborating with warehouse teams, the coordinator ensures that orders are pulled and ready for shipment, maintaining the steady flow of operations. Logistics management duties also include overseeing delivery equipment to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The coordinator will also monitor the weight limits of trucks, resolve vehicle safety issues promptly, and keep customers informed about delivery statuses throughout the process. This role requires a successful candidate to be proactive, adaptable to stress, and able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous dispatch or logistics experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Duties
- Coordinating deliveries with sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Working closely with warehouse personnel to ensure on-time delivery
- Managing delivery equipment to ensure safe operations and compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations
- Making sure that trucks fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle
- Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles
- Resolving vehicle safety issues
