Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • passion for culinary arts and delighting guests
  • experience working in restaurants or culinary field with a focus on high-volume production
  • knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • ability to follow and understand recipes

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field or culinary degree with equivalent experience
  • knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • ability to follow and understand recipes in a mass volume environment
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • strong listening skills and ability to take direction
  • desire to provide excellent guest service
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, and cook stocks, soups, sauces, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs
  • bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • add seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to experience and judgment
  • use cooking techniques such as braising, baking, roasting, and high-level skillet work
  • demonstrate strong knife skills
  • maintain organization, speed, accuracy, and efficiency in a high-volume kitchen
  • collaborate with team members to provide excellent guest service
