Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Passion for culinary arts and delighting guests
- Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary or equivalent degree
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques
- Ability to follow recipes in a mass volume environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in high-volume settings
- Strong listening skills and ability to take direction
- Desire to provide excellent guest service and be a team player
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field or culinary degree with equivalent experience
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Demonstrated ability to follow recipes and take direction
- Passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent guest service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Preferred culinary education program completion or equivalent leadership experience
- Bilingual abilities are an asset
Job Duties
- Prepare, season, and cook stocks, soups, sauces, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in restaurants
- Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
- Add seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience
- Use cooking techniques such as braising, baking, roasting, and high-level skillet/sauté work
- Utilize knife skills to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely
- Follow recipes accurately in a high-volume environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality food production
