Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Passion for culinary arts and delighting guests
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary or equivalent degree
  • Knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes in a mass volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in high-volume settings
  • Strong listening skills and ability to take direction
  • Desire to provide excellent guest service and be a team player
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in culinary field or culinary degree with equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
  • Demonstrated ability to follow recipes and take direction
  • Passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent guest service
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Preferred culinary education program completion or equivalent leadership experience
  • Bilingual abilities are an asset

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, and cook stocks, soups, sauces, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in restaurants
  • Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • Add seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience
  • Use cooking techniques such as braising, baking, roasting, and high-level skillet/sauté work
  • Utilize knife skills to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely
  • Follow recipes accurately in a high-volume environment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality food production
