Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Passion for culinary arts and delighting guests with exceptional food
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary or restaurant experience, or culinary degree with equivalent experience
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Ability to follow and understand recipes in a high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with speed and efficiency
  • Good listening skills and ability to take direction
  • Desire to provide excellent guest service and be part of a team
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Ability to prepare, season, and cook a wide range of food items using various cooking methods such as braising, baking, roasting, and sautéing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the culinary field or a culinary degree with equivalent experience in high-volume production
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective listening skills and ability to take direction
  • Demonstrated passion for culinary arts and fine dining
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Completed culinary education program or equivalent leadership experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, and cook stocks, soups, sauces, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in restaurants
  • Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • Add seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience
  • Use cooking techniques such as braising, baking, roasting (oven or rotating spit), and high-level skillet/sauté work
  • Follow and understand recipes in a mass volume environment
  • Work with speed, accuracy, and efficiency in the kitchen to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Provide excellent guest service and support team operations in a dynamic culinary setting
