The Utility Associate role at HMSHost is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and smooth operation of the food and beverage service areas. Starting at $11.50 per hour, this non-exempt position involves responsibilities such as cleaning equipment, utensils, workstations, and floors using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards. The Utility Associate ensures that all kitchen tools and surfaces are sanitized, trash is properly disposed of, and supply trucks are efficiently loaded and unloaded. This role also includes monitoring and replenishing supplies like ice levels, keg beers, Co2 containers, and bib sodas. HMSHost values safety and security, and the Utility Associate adheres to all established procedures while frequently immersing hands in water and chemical solutions, showcasing the physical nature of the job. The position calls for individuals who are able to bend, twist, stand, and lift/move up to 40 pounds regularly.
