This particular opportunity is for the role of Steward, a critically important position that ensures the cleanliness, efficiency, and smooth functionality of the culinary operations. As a Steward, your role focuses on supporting the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation and plating as needed, and adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines. You will collaborate closely with the culinary team to support the seamless flow of operations, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery. This role demands a detail-oriented, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in contributing to an exceptional hospitality experience.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
  • Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of food and supplies
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow
