As one of the top cruise companies, Norwegian Cruise Lines not only offers unforgettable vacations but also fosters a dynamic work environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and personal excellence.
This full-time position invites motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the esteemed utility crew aboard the Pride of America Cruise Ship, a vessel that sails the breathtaking Hawaiian Islands. As a Galley Steward on the Pride of America, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the galley areas. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all utensils and supplies are stocked and sanitized, managing the safe and temperature-controlled storage of products, and operating dishwashing equipment efficiently. This role supports smooth food service operations by collaborating with other team members and assisting in the setup and breakdown of special events, contributing to the overall hospitality experience on board. As a member of the utility team, you must have a strong work ethic, a passion for hospitality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience as a galley or kitchen steward in a hotel or ship setting. Professional appearance, excellent hygiene, respect for co-workers and guests, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential traits. This role requires flexibility to work seven days a week and the ability to bring positive energy and camaraderie to the team. Beyond the professional responsibilities, working on the Pride of America offers a rich cultural and social experience, enabling you to explore new places and build friendships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Joining Norwegian Cruise Lines means embarking on an adventure filled with rewarding challenges and opportunities. Crew members receive four meals daily at no cost, enjoy a generous five weeks of vacation between ship deployments, and benefit from employee discounts and health insurance. This unique work environment combines the excitement of travel with the security of a full-time position in a global company that values its employees and invests in their success.
