The Steward role at Radisson Hotel Nashville Airport is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all food and beverage outlets on the property, including the kitchen, dishware, and equipment. This position ensures that all areas are maintained to the highest hygiene standards, contributing significantly to an outstanding guest experience. Stewards are responsible for managing the setup and takedown of select kitchen and outlet areas, ensuring operational efficiency and cleanliness.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of food and beverage operations including sweeping, mopping, washing counters, and scrubbing kitchen mats
  • Assisting cafeteria attendants and cooks with setup, breakdown, and cleanliness
  • Monitoring trash and recycling levels and removing when needed
  • Washing pots, pans, kettles, skillets, and floor drains
  • Cleaning china, silverware, and glassware using dish machine or by hand
  • Stocking cook line with necessary dishware and equipment
  • Assisting with banquet function breakdown and washing dishes from events
  • Providing exceptional guest service by demonstrating genuine hospitality and teamwork
  • Following all safety and security procedures
  • Performing other duties as required to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards
