The Dishwasher/Server role is a vital part of our team, combining responsibilities that ensure both the cleanliness of our kitchen and the quality of service delivered to our guests. This position involves assisting with meal preparation, serving residents or customers according to established dietary guidelines, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout all phases of meal service. The ideal candidate will have experience or a willingness to learn in both dishwashing and customer service, possess good communication skills, and be able to work efficiently as part of a team. The role also requires a strong understanding and strict adherence to food safety regulations including proper dishwashing procedures and the use of personal protective equipment to safeguard health.

Employment for this role is offered on a full-time basis, with an hourly pay range of $17.00 to $18.00 depending on qualifications, shift schedules, and experience. As a member of our team, the Dishwasher/Server will play an essential role in creating a positive dining environment by ensuring that food is prepared and served properly and that all utensils, plates, and dining areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

This position requires the person to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including a booster, and to present proof. Candidates must possess an active Safe Serve Food Handler's Card and successfully clear a Live Scan background check as conditions of employment. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required, alongside authorization to work in the United States. Duties include managing meal service logistics such as placing utensils and condiments on tables, preparing sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and ensuring that dietary restrictions and orders are accurately followed. It also involves dishwashing responsibilities such as scraping food, manually washing or loading dishes into the machine, and verifying dishwashing cycles for cleanliness, as well as maintaining a clean workspace and supporting overall kitchen safety and organization.
