Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- minimum of 2 years experience in a utility galley or kitchen steward role or similar
- ability to work 7 days a week
- hold or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential
- able to maintain balance while walking and standing
- able to climb ladders and stairs
- able to step over door sills and move through restricted openings
- able to open and close watertight doors weighing up to 55 pounds
- able to lift at least 40 pounds and carry, push or pull the same load
- able to grasp and manipulate common tools such as wrenches and hammers
- able to crouch, kneel and crawl
- able to distinguish texture and temperature by feel
- able to stand intermittently for up to four hours
- able to respond to visual and audible alarms
- physically able to put on a Personal Flotation Device without assistance
- no physical limitations preventing performance of duties
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a utility galley or kitchen steward or similar area in a hotel or ship operation

Job Duties
- Ensure that the assigned galley area is stocked and re-stocked with clean and sanitized supplies and utensils
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- operate dishwashers in the assigned work area and coordinate with maintenance if not functioning
- support galley staff to maintain food and service schedules
- assist in set-up and break-down of special events as instructed
- ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and available at the start of each shift
- perform other related duties as assigned or directed
