Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years in food service and customer service experience preferred
- current ServSafe certification or City of Arlington Food Handlers/Manager Card
- ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds
- willingness to work non-standard schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to adhere to safe sanitary practices
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years in food service and customer service experience preferred
- ServSafe and/or City of Arlington Food Handlers/Manager Card
- ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices
- strong organization skills, desire to learn
- ability to keep all areas clean, neat and organized at all times
- confidence in work with a professional demeanor and service first attitude
- ability to perform physical demands such as standing for several hours, lifting up to 45 pounds, bending, kneeling, and stooping
- working knowledge of baseball is a plus
- Spanish fluency is a plus
Job Duties
- Wash, clean, store, organize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
- cleaning of kitchen areas, dining room and other areas as needed
- receiving and putting away orders, must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- prep fruits, vegetables and other items as assigned by chefs
- maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment and work areas
- assist kitchen team as needed with additional food prep tasks
