The Dishwasher/Porter role at Erewhon Market plays a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of the culinary and café team by handling essential sanitation and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will work closely with the culinary team and management to maintain cleanliness in all dishwashing, storage, and food preparation areas. This includes duties such as dishwashing, garbage removal, floor cleaning, and replenishing necessary supplies in both the kitchen and service areas. Job Duties

  • Handle all food, storage and cleaning activities for the store location in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain sanitation for the back of the house including removing garbage, cleaning floors, coolers, freezers and stock areas
  • Keep the dish pit, line and prep areas organized and clean
  • Replenish dishes in the front and back of the house
  • Communicate clearly with the Culinary Manager on supplies and equipment needs
  • Work closely with culinary team to support overall cafe operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
