Job Requirements

  • Experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods

  • Previous experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen support role is an asset

Job Duties

  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitized
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the dishwashing area including drying floors to prevent slips
  • Handle dishwashing chemicals safely and according to guidelines
  • Assist kitchen staff as needed to support food preparation areas
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables properly in accordance with restaurant policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock and maintenance issues
  • Follow all health and safety standards consistently
