Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing or entry level food handling experience a plus
  • Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment

Job Duties

  • Manage and operate dishwashing, keeping the back area clean and organized
  • Take pride in daily cleaning including sinks, drains, metro shelves, trash bins, floors, walk-in freezer/refrigerator, grease traps if applicable
  • Prepare baked goods according to recipes and standard operating procedures including scooping cookies, cutting bars/cookies, mixing buttercreams
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to manager on duty
  • Operate and properly use bakery equipment according to recipes/standard operating procedures, including mixers, induction burners, dishwasher
  • Monitor cleaning supplies inventory levels
